Remediation/Fixes
Fixes for the vulnerability are included in Daeja ViewONE Virtual 5.0.7 iFix009 and Daeja ViewONE Virtual 5.0.8 iFix003.
The ViewONE fix depends on the content repository being used to provide an HTTP 403 response to HEAD and GET requests for any URL connection that it makes where the current user is not authorised to access.
Workarounds and Mitigations
If the server parameter 'docIdPrototype' is not set, or is set to '{originalDocURL}', then adding a unique user token to the document URL provided to ViewONE will make the cached content user specific.
