Troubleshooting
Problem
When you select features to uninstall before a Design Room ONE (DR ONE) upgrade, the Uninstall button is unavailable.
Symptom
To upgrade DR ONE, previous versions of client features in the modeling client, for example IBM® Rational® Software Architect Designer (RSAD), must first be uninstalled.
However, when you select the features to uninstall, the Uninstall button is inactive.
The following steps reproduce the problem:
- Open RSAD
- Select Help > About Rational Software Architect Designer...
- Click the Installation Details button
- Select any of the DR ONE client features
- RESULT: The Uninstall button is disabled.
