Objective
This workshop provides a comprehensive overview about the IBM Spectrum Discover architecture and concepts. You learn how to deploy IBM Spectrum Discover, configure data sources, run queries, generate reports, use policies to enrich metadata, and work with external applications. For most of the hands-on sessions, you use the IBM Spectrum Discover GUI. You get familiar with the REST API allowing to control IBM Spectrum Discover operations through the command line.
At the end of the workshop, you are familiar with the IBM Spectrum Discover architecture and concepts and you are able work with metadata catalog by using queries, policies, and applications.
