Some tasks commonly performed by IBM Security Guardium™ administrators include the execution of features like Data Archive, Results Archive and System Backup among others.
IBM Security Guardium™ provides support for many different file transfer methods, including FTP.
In some environments where due compliance and security matters encrypted communications are the standard, FTP is not an option. For them, the Guardium™ systems can be configured to perform their data transfers via the SFTP protocol.
