Problem
Importing used defined functions into Framework Manager while using PostgreSQL JDBC driver version 42.2.11 or higher resulted in duplicated metadata.
Symptom
Cognos Analytics retrieves metadata via the DatabaseMetadata methods implemented by a JDBC driver. This includes such methods as DatabaseMetadata.getProcedureColumns and DatabaseMetadata.getFunctionColumns which are used to retrieve the columns from Procedure(s) and User-Defined Function(s) respectively.
When PostgreSQL JDBC driver version 42.2.11 or higher is used, DatabaseMetadata.getProcedureColumns returns the metadata associated to arguments for functions, resulting in duplicated metadata.
