    error: posix_fallocate failed, i=0, st=2, error=No such
    file or directory
    error: remove failed, i=0, st=-1, errno=2, error=No such
    file or directory
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • If a file is unlinked after opening it, fallocate(2)
    on that fd will fail with ENOENT

  • Benefits of the solution:
    fallocate(2) on a unlinked file will succeed
    Work Around: None
    Problem trigger:
    Unlinking a file after opening it, then
    call fallocate(2) on that fd.
