DESCRIPTION:
Red Hat spice is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by smartcard interaction. By connecting to a guest VM, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the host QEMU-KVM process.

DESCRIPTION:
Red Hat spice could allow a remote attacker from within the local network to bypass security restrictions, caused by a memory access error when handling certain guests. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability using specially crafted primary surface parameters to read from and write to arbitrary memory locations on the host.
