This article described the format limitation for the Virtual node name for the HA enabled cluster. The Virtual node name should be set in suitable format.

Answer

When enabling HA in the PHPC cluster, there are some format limitations for the Virtual node name as below:

1> The Virtual node name should only consists of lower case and digital, upper case and all special character are not allowed.

2> The virtual node name must be a valid host name.

3> The virtual node name can not be a fully qualified domain name, it must be the short name without the domain name.

4> The virtual node name line must end with a colon(:).
