Information Server and DataStage High Availabilty scripts return status code that is incompatible with some HA software.

Troubleshooting

Problem

Information Server provides high availability (HA) scripts InfoSvrEngine and InfoSvrServices which have functions to start, stop, and check status of Information Server service and engine tiers.   Various HA packages check the status codes to determine when a failover to backup server is needed, however some HA software programs expect different status codes than the ones provided by these 2 scripts.
