Problem
When you try to open the IBM Rational RequisitePro RequisiteWeb login page locally from the WebServer using a localhost URL, you might receive this error.
Symptom
The following error message appears in your Web browser.
ERROR
The requested URL could not be retrieved.

Cause
The cause is related to the proxy server, if you use a proxy server for your network.
Resolving The Problem
You change the connection settings in your Web browser in such a way that it uses no proxy server for local addresses.
In a Microsoft Internet Explorer browser you click Internet Options > Local Area Network . Then you select to Bypass proxy server for local addresses.
