Question

Is there a way to use the Batch Update job to delete the dataset members?

Cause

To obsolete assets on the mainframe, you may be manually deleting the assets in IBM WebSphere Studio Asset Analyzer.

Answer

You can submit the batch jobs, DMHJCLBU/DMHJCLQU, to delete the members in the PDS. See the section in Chapter 1, Scanning Without the web browser, Batch Update, in the Taking an inventory guide
