PH26183: 835 REQUIRES THAT SIX ITERATIONS OF CAS TRIOS MUST BE EXHAUSTED FOR SPECIFIC ADJUSTMENT GROUP CODE BEFORE IT CAN BE REPEATED

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The 835 transaction requires that the six iterations of the CAS
  trios must be exhausted for a specific adjustment group code
  before that group code can be repeated.
  Transactions are passing compliance when a CAS segment is
  repeated with the same group code when the previous CAS segment
  with the same group code has not exhausted all six iterations.
  This applies to both the 2100 and 2110 CAS segments.

Problem conclusion

• Created new configurable rules to check that if CAS segment with
   same group code was repeated, the previous segment had a full 6
   iterations adjustment trios.  This also required updates to the
   hcsvu exit
