APAR status

Error description

  • Compliance check processing of EDI X12 834 is processed with
duplicate transaction set line number. This should not pass
compliance. Sample data below, duplicate line number segment
is LX*6:

Problem summary

  • Users affected:
Transformation Extender Pack for Healthcare Payer HIPAA

Problem Description:

No rule to check that the LX01 (assigned number) in the 2700
member reporting loop increments and is not duplicated.

Platforms affected:
ALL

Problem conclusion

  • Updated hcsvu, hipaa x12 trees, and added new rule in qualifier
to support this, as we had already supported for LX01 in the
2300 claim loop

Healthcare Payer 9.0.2, 10.0

Fixed in the next Service Pack and releases.
