Question
I have my i5/OS system value QPWDLVL set to 2, which allows a 128 character password to be entered by my users for many of my iSeries applications. Can I enter an equally long password in the Content Manager Client for Windows Version 5 Release 1 when connected to Content Manager for iSeries?
Answer
No, the CM Client password is limited to 10 characters, which is the same as the length of the i5/OS userid. This is a limitation in the 5722-VI1 CM for iSeries product.
