Troubleshooting
Problem
Information Analyzer Column Analysis or a Discovery may fail with an inconclusive error message.
Websphere SystemOut.log reports an error :
DB2 function SQLFetch failed: SQLSTATE =HY001: Native Error Code = -10,003: Msg = [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/LINUXX8664] SQL10003C There are not enough system resources to process the request. The request cannot be processed. SQLSTATE=57011 (CC_DB2Connection::getVersionServerPtf, file CC_DB2Connection.cpp, line 3,721)db2diag.log shows that there are error messages indicating that the shared memory defined by DB2_FMP_COMM_HEAPSZ may be too low:
ADM11002E Insufficient shared memory available for communication with the db2fmp process. Use the DB2_FMP_COMM_HEAPSZ registry variable to increase the amount of shared memory available for fenced routines.with the return code
SQL1003C There are not enough system resources to process the request. The request cannot be processed.Symptom
