How can you find IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) licenses on the "IBM Passport Advantage Online"?
Objective
This document shows how to download the activation file for IBM Engineering products Release 7 and later releases.
Steps
For Versions 7.0, 7.0.1 and 7.0.2, you need to select a version 7.0 activation file.
The 7.0 license is backwards compatible with version 6.
For Version 7.0.3, you require a new version 7.0.3 activation file. The 7.0.3 activation file is not backwards compatible to previous versions.
PROCEDURE:
1) Sign in to IBM Passport Advantage Online.
2) Select "Download Software" under column "Software download & media access".
3) Enter “activation” into the search field and press enter.
Select the product concerned and select the license type ("floating perpetual" in this example).
Expand until no further expansion is possible.
Select "view image" .
4) Click "Download":
Additional Information
Note 1: Only users authorized by the site primary contact in your company to download software have access to these licenses.
Note 2: Token and Term licenses can be found in the Rational license key center.
