PH27566: GEN ON CATALOG COPY MAY RESULT IN -805 ERRORS OR INCORRECT OUTPUT

Error description

• This APAR addresses two issues related to the catalog copy
  function:
  
  1)  It supplies missing BIND statements to the DDLBNDxx job.
  The missing statements may lead to SQL error -805 when
  later generating DDL on the catalog copy.
  
  2) If packages for a catalog copy are not rebound after
  maintenance is applied, it is possible for GEN running on a
  catalog copy to use a package that has a SYSIBM qualifier,
  instead of the qualifier for the catalog copy tables.  This may
  lead to incorrect DDL output.
  
  With this APAR applied, GEN will check whether it is running in
  catalog copy mode.  If it is, and any of certain packages has a
  SYSIBM qualifier, it will stop and issue message ADB1974E. For
  example:
  
  ADB1974E Package ADB2REM has qualifier SYSIBM. Using this
  package from a catalog copy would have resulted in DDL based on
  the local Db2 system catalog. GEN processing stops.

  This APAR addresses two issues related to the catalog copy
  function:
  
  1. When a user requests jobs to create a catalog copy, some BIND
  statements are missing. Even though the DDLBNDxx job completes
  successfully, generating DDL after switching to a catalog
  copy might result in a -805 SQL code. This APAR supplies the
  missing BIND statements.
  
  2. During the catalog copy process, packages are created using
  the package owner as the qualifier. If certain packages are
  rebound with the qualifier SYSIBM, DDL generation on the catalog
  copy is unexpectedly based on the local Db2 system
  catalog.
  
  With this APAR applied, The GEN function will issue error
  message ADB1974E when the qualifier SYSIBM is
  detected while running in catalog copy mode.

  package from a catalog copy would have resulted in DDL based on
  the local Db2 system catalog. GEN processing stops.
