Summary

There are chances that when you start a new kernel in Jupyter Notebook deployment it takes long time for essential processing. Causing the kernel launch exceeds the default timeout 30 seconds. This short timeout causes kernel error. This article discusses how you can set a user-defined environment variable KERNEL_LAUNCH_TIMEOUT to a larger value to extend the timeout time.
