PM43480: THIS IS A BACKWARD FIT APAR OF PM41111 FOR HP IMAGE COPY V4.2: HPIC BUILD DFSMSDSS COMMAND WITH THE INCORRECT PARTITION NAME

Error description

• Customer seems not to be able to get the HPIC to work with
  FASTIC=(PREF,DUMP). Following messages shows up:
  
  FABJ4231E ERROR IN COMMAND FOR DB/AREA GNMADJS1 DDN GADJ1AA  DSN
  GNMP.IMS.GADJ1
  FABJ4215E ERROR DURING DFSMSDSS API PROCESSING RC=00000008
  FABJ4201E IMAGE COPY PROCESSING TERMINATED DUE TO AN ERROR IN
  DFSMSDSS API
  
  It is because HPIC build DFSMSdss command with incorrect
  partition name then the problem occurs:
    Advanced Image Copy (FASTIC)
    Input database is PSINDEX

  This APAR includes following APAR fix from IMS High Performance
  Image Copy for z/OS version 4 release 2:
  
  PM41111 fixes following problem:
    When the Advanced Image Copy of HP Image Copy Image Copy
    function runs under the following conditions, DFSMSdss process
    detects open failure of the input data set with
    message ADR374E ( MSGADR374E ) then HP Image Copy job
    terminates with RC=8 and message FABJ4215E ( MSGFABJ4215E ) :
     - Schedule Advanced Image Copy such as FASTIC=(,DUMP),
       FASTIC=(,COPY) or FASTIC=(,FDUMP).
     - Input DB is PSINDEX.
     - The length of partition name is 6
       bytes or less.
  
    HP Image Copy tries to set the partition name of PSINDEX DB in
    the operand of PSWD keyword of DFSMSdss command as the
    password.
    But HP Image Copy logic is incorrect and sets garbage data. As
    a result, DFSMSdss detects open failure.
  

Problem conclusion

• FABJDFCN and FABJDPSN have been modified to set partition name
  correctly into password area.
  
  The following modules have been reassembled.
    FABJDFC7 FABJDFC8 FABJDFC9 FABJDFCA FABJDFCB
    FABJDPS7 FABJDPS8 FABJDPS9 FABJDPSA FABJDPSB
