APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• AbendS0C2 in module FABJOINT CSECT FABJOINT at offset X'388'
  during recovery function with HPIO=Y for VSAM data set.
  This is because the PSW KEY MASK is modified not to
  allow KEY-8 during OS I/O. HPIC tries to change to SUPERVISOR
  state with modified PSW-KEY MASK, and gets ABEND S0C2.

  HPIC V4R1 Recovery function terminates with ABEND S0C2
  ( ABEND0C2 ) when VSAM database data set is processed with
  HPIO=Y.
  Because PSW-key mask (CR3) is changed during Media Manager call,
  and KEY-8, which has been used in HPIC process, is not allowed.
  

Problem conclusion

• FABJOINT has been modified to save and restore PSW-key mask.
  If PSW-key mask is changed, FABJOINT restores it with saved one.
