Troubleshooting
Problem
A new report to production Cognos and it seems to run slower than on development. Both run the same version of Cognos, Operating System, and Database versions.
Symptom
Example:
Run this query on Dev, it executes/fetches the data about 5 seconds.
Run this query on Prod, it executes/fetches the data about 3 minutes at the first time.
Run the query on Prod a second time, it works about 5 seconds.
