Building a target project using omake or clearmake fails because rtperl cannot be found

Troubleshooting


Problem

When you try to build a target project using either omake or clearmake, the build fails. The console displays a message like " 'C:/Program' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file ".

Symptom

When using omake, the build fails with an error message like:
**** Build of configuration NewComponent1 for project NewComponent1 ****
omake all
'C:/Program' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

omake: Shell line exit status 1. Stop.

When using clearmake, the build fails with an error message like:
**** Build of configuration NewComponent1 for project NewComponent1 ****

clearmake all
'C:/Program' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
clearmake: Error: Build script failed for "HelloWorld.o"
*** Error code 1
