PM81204: ABENDS0D23 WHEN TRYING TO ISSUE MESSAGE HWSO1601

Error description

• When HWSOMXMT+A4E tries to issue message HWSO1601 IMS Connect
  abends with a S0D23.  The S0D23 is caused by the message not
  being in the IMS Connect messages module HWSM1ENU.

  When IMS Connect fails with ABENDS0D23 it is usually due to IMS
  Connect passing incorrect error message structure to the write
  to operator (WTO) facility.  In this case IMS Connect is trying
  to WTO an error message (HWSO1601W) for which it has NO defined
  structure in part HWSM1ENU.
  
  The IMS Connect IMSPLEX driver component is attempting to notify
  of a failed attempt to release an internal buffer when wto'ing
  the message that resulted in the abend.

  This problem is probably an internal error. Search the problem

  none exists, contact IBM  Software Support. Provide the JCL,
  SYSLOG, and memory dump if available.
