Abstract The library server monitor marks the resource manager as offline even though it is available.
APAR Description:
When the reply from a resource manager for the request from the library server is sent in multiple buffers, each less than 1000 bytes, the library server only receives the first buffer and marks that resource manager as offline.

Abstract Removing an ACL from a domain should result in an error if it is being used.
APAR Description:
Currently, users can remove an ACL from one of its domains by using the APIs or the system administration client without any errors even though the ACL contains rules for users that are in the removed domain.
With this fix, the action of removing an ACL from a domain that is being used will invoke error 7077, which indicates that the ACL is in use.

Abstract Remove support of a foreign key with the Cascade delete or Set null option
APAR Description:
With the DB2 Content Manager APIs? and system administration client, you can create database foreign keys between two item types (or from DB2 Content Manager item types to external tables) with the cascade delete and Set null options. As a result, when an item in the parent (target) table (or external table) of the foreign key is deleted, the delete rule will cause one of the following actions for items in the child (source) table of the foreign key:
With the fix of this APAR, the library server will reject the foreign key create action if the delete cascade or the set null options are selected. Content The cascaded actions are done automatically by the database manager, thus bypassing DB2 Content Manager access control list (ACL) checks and event creations. The cascaded actions might also cause orphan objects in the resource manager if the items being deleted are of document or resource types. In addition, if the child item is a declared record, the database manager might also delete it or set the related attribute value to null. You should change your existing foreign keys' delete rules to use either "restrict" or "no action." You can make that change by using the system administration client. If you still want to delete the child item, then you should explicitly delete it by using one of your DB2 Content Manager applications or client programs instead of relying on implicit delete actions from the database manager. |
