When trying to connect to a SSL enabled port using the Rocket ODBC drivers, the error "Communication link broken" is displayed on the driver and cannot connect to the server.

The appropriate ODBC driver parameters needed for SSL are not set in the driver.
The below parameters need to be set under the Advanced option on the ODBC Driver Setup using the ODBC Data Source Administrator for the Data Virtualization ODBC driver
Encryption Method should be set to the appropriate TLS version. The value TLS1 means the data that is exchanged is encrypted by using the TLS1 version, TLS1.1 (TLS version 1.1), TLS1.2 (TLS version 1.2) of the SSL protocol. The value SSL3 means the data that is exchanged is encrypted by using the SSL3 version of the SSL protocol.
Validate Server Certificate should be set to No to turn off the validation of the security certificate of the server as part of the server only SSL authentication handshake.
