Troubleshooting
Problem
Under the following circumstances, the upgrade to Content Platform Engine 5.5.5 fails:
- The Content Platform Engine is running on a Windows WebLogic application server
- The tmp path contains C:\Program Files (x86)
Symptom
The default location of the Configure JDBC GCD Data Sources script in the Configuration Manager is set to
C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\FileNet\ContentEngine\tools\configure\scripts\ConfigureWLJDBC.py
and the tmp path is set to
C:\Program Files (X86)\IBM\FileNet\ContentEngine\tools\configure\tmp
When the GCD task is run, the following error occurs:
An error occurred while running Configure GCD JDBC Data Sources task.
Running the task failed with the following message: The data source configuration failed:
\IBM\FileNet\ContentEngine\tools\configure\tmp\configurejdbcgcd.py"") was unexpected at this time.
If the tmp directory path contains C:\Program Files (x86)\.., the same error occurs when running any of the upgrade tasks.
When the GCD task is run, the following error occurs:
