Troubleshooting
Problem
With seemingly no changes to the system, IBM HTTP Server can begin repeatedly logging lines like the following in the error.log:
- SSL0200E: SSL Handshake Failed: (14)GSK_ERROR_UNEXPECTED_INT_EXCEPTION.
The symptom will change after the server is restarted:
- SSL0208E: SSL Handshake Failed, Certificate validation error.
A similar problem can be reported by the WAS WebServer Plug-in in http_plugin.log when the application servers certificate chain has an expiration.
