Troubleshooting
Problem
Attempts to add a repository connection in IBM Rational Team Concert plugin for Visual Studio v6.0.6.1 with Visual Studio 2015 Enterprise edition fails with "Failed to contact the repository".
Symptom
Step to reproduce
- Choose the menu Team Concert > Windows > Team Artifact in visual studio,
- Right click on Repository Connection
- Type the URL for the Repository
- Type the login and password
- Click OK
The following message is raised "Failed to contact the repository"
