Error description
Using the CICS Cloud perspective in the CICS Explorer you are tryingt o export a CICS Application Project. But it fails to successfully export to HFS (zFS). In the CICS Explorer trace file we see the exception is: . com.ibm.cics.application.ui.internal.wizard.UnexportedBundles Page.recalculateUnexportedBundles() [java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException] java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException . Caused by: com.ibm.cics.core.model.CICSSystemManagerException: BUNDLE, NOTAVAILABLE, SCOPE . This leads to the com.ibm.cics.bundle.ui.BundleProjectExportWiz ard.performFinish() call failing with a java.lang.NullPointerException. . The CICSSystemManagerException of BUNDLE, NOTAVAILABLE, SCOPE is typically returned in CPSM when an API request fails where: One or more MASes in the request scope are not available . . . Local fix
Problem summary
When CICS Explorer queries bundles within a region during the export of an application to an installed platform with no active regions and a NOTAVAILABLE/SCOPE error is received a JAVA.LANG.NULLPOINTEREXCEPTION error is thrown and processing stops.
Problem conclusion
The null pointer exception is corrected. When exporting an application to a platform in a CICSplex with no active regions, the export will return a NOTAVAILABLE/SCOPE error and processing will continue. . This fix will be made available in Version 5.3.0.21 of the CICS Explorer. .
