Problem
Attempts to use accented characters such as umlauts (äüö)in the 'Message of the day' results in question marks (??) being displayed in the IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS client.
Symptom
When the DOORS Client displays this message (at login), umlauts are displayed as question marks (??).
