PQ76240: GEN CREATES A COMMENT WHICH IS NOT PRECEDED BY HYPHENS

Error description

• When using DB2 Administration Tool to GEN a stored procedure,
  a comment is created which is missing the two hyphens at the
  start of the line.  This happens when a new name is entered
  for Schema.  A separate line is generated where GRANTOR
  starts in column 1, even though it is intended to be a
  comment.  Additionally, GRANTOR is not followed by the new
  name specified for GRANTOR or <no chg>.

  If the GEN on the stored procedure is done specifying TSO
  rather than batch, the following messages are displayed on
  the screen before the output is displayed:

   at statement 5210 at compile unit offset +0004144E

  The above warning messages are also received if the DDL line
  command is used.

Local fix

• Insert 2 hyphens before GRANTOR to make that line a comment
  before attempting to execute.

Problem conclusion

• The fixing parts for this APAR are included in the fix for
  PQ76267 : ADB2MSK and ADB2REG modules. Only ADB2MSK is
  repeated here. PQ76267 is therefore a PRE for PQ76240.
  Both APARs are to be in the same PTF.
