PI30379: GRID VIEW USER SELECTOR ICONS ARE NOT DISPLAYING / MISSING WHEN NOT USING THE DEFAULT /OPENPAGES CONTEXT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When the OpenPages environment is set up to exclude
  openpages  from the OpenPages application URL, the user
  selector icons go missing in the gridview. This does not affect
  other views like the Detail view.
  Prerequisites:
  Baseline OP 7.0.0.2 with modules
  1. Follow the technote:

  to set up the server to remove  openpages  from the
  application URL
  2. Create basic entity structure
  a. Navigate to Organization -> Business Entities
  b. Click on the Add New button
  c. Enter Ent01 as the name and click Create
  d. Navigate to Organization -> Business Entity Overview
  e. Click on Ent01
  f. On the left navigation bar, click on Issues under the
  Associations section
  g. On the right, click on Actions and select Add a new Issue
  h. Enter a name, Issue01, then click the Save button
  3. Set up profile
  a. Log in to the UI as an administrator eg.
  OpenPagesAdministrator
  b. Navigate to Administration -> Profiles
  c. Click on the  OpenPages Platform  profile link
  d. Under Object Types, click on SOXIssue
  e. Under Object Fields, click on the Include button
  f. Select Assignee and click Include
  g. Under Object Fields, click on the Assignee link
  h. Under Object Field Information, click the Edit button
  i. Change the Display Type to be User Selector, then click the
  Save button
  j. On the cookie trail, click on SOXIssue to bring back to the
  SOXIssue page
  k. Under Navigational Views, click the Add New button
  l. Give the view a name of TestView then click Next
  m. Click Next and Next again
  n. Click on the Choose Fields button
  o. Select Description and Issue Owner, then click the Apply
  button
  p. Click the Finish button
  Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Log into the OpenPages application server as an
  administrator eg. OpenPagesAdministrator
  2. Navigate to Remeditation -> Issues
  3. On the quick filter, enter Iss to bring back the issue object
  4. Change the view to the new TestView
  5. Doubleclick on the Issue Owner grid to bring to edit mode.
  You will see the missing icons.
  Expected Results:
  Images for the User Selector should display correctly
  Actual Results:
  Images for the User Selector are showing a X due to the image
  path pointing to //images/icon-user.gif instead of
  /images/icon-user.gif
