IBM Policy Insights July 2019 Release Notes
Welcome to the July 2019 release of Policy Insights. New features, resolved defects, known issues, and other getting started information are highlighted in these release notes.
The product documentation for IBM Health and Human Services Analytics is available in the IBM Knowledge Center.
Feature enhancements in this release are designed to improve how you search for, view, and work with policy documents.
This release delivers improvements in the accuracy of document retrieval on the search results page. You now see more relevant documents on the first page. The documents on subsequent pages are related to your search query, but might not be as relevant as the first few pages. Like in other search engines, you don't need to read them all; you decide when to stop reading based on the reducing quality of the results on subsequent page.
- The document snippets on the search results page have been redesigned to be more concise. You can quickly ascertain whether you want to consume the relevant content within the PDF or quickly move onto the next document.
- Emphasis is added to the snippets so that you can easily see the combination of keywords or phrases that caused each document to be relevant to your search query.
When you search for medical billing codes (CDT, CPT or HCPCS), the search results reflect current information from the most recent NCCI edits.
- (2829) If you search for a single billing code and later edit the search (by selecting the Refine link and adding or removing items to or from the list), the search results are not refreshed.
