Error description

If an XML Object is defined as xsd:normalizedString and the
string contains special characters a extraneous 'amp;' will be
added to the string.

For example:
&amp; will become &amp;amp;

Local fix

Change type from xsd:normalizedString to xsd:string

Special characters (such as '>', '<' and '&') inside XML objects
with normalizedString type will be double escaped during
serialized.

Problem conclusion

The serialization routine for normalizedString types was
corrected to only escape special characters once.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 8.5.5.4.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
