PI31370: SESSION COMMAND NOT ACKNOWLEDGED FOR DB2 Z/OS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A datasource connection against DB2 z/Os  is defined with a
  separate open session command, to enforce a specific schema to
  be used for execution. When executing a query subject containing
  the SQL
  select col1, col2 from [datasource].table
  instead of
  select * from [datasource].table
  the execution fails with UDA-SQL-0196 The table could not be
  found in the dictionary.
  
  When verifying the logfiles the SQLColumns function has been
  executed against the wrong schema.
