Troubleshooting
Problem
Cognos Report Studio only allows authors to set the default value of a prompt to a static value. This doesn't allow setting the default to something dynamic (like "last week", or the users's location LDAP parameter). However, there is a design technique that will allow this functionality, with certain limitations.
