Error description

  • Invocation of ASF Web client using control parms DXBFNCT=LCF and
DXBSELEND=R1 may lead to unexpected results:
    1. Interaction with PDP/PVP
Message returned by PDP/PVP leads to termination of document
composition. PDP/PVP-message is returned to the caller.
    2. If one of the standard paragaphs contains a parameter
requiring user interaction, the parameter prompting panel is
displayed rather than termination processing and returning
       message FSN070E to the caller.
    3. If one of the standard paragraphs is marked as
must-be-modified, the processing terminates abnormally with
message FSN230E amended with "This session cannot be
       continued. Please logon again."
    4. Interaction with exit program WLCM (specified in tailoring
       parameter EXITWLCM
If the program name specified in tailoring parameter EXITWLCM
       does not exist, processing terminates abnormally;
message FSN620E is returned amended with "This session cannot
       be continued. Please logon again."
Processing may finish with submission of document for batch
print, but return to the caller terminates abnormally.
Message FSN199I is returned amended with "This session cannot
       be continued. Please logon again."

    ****************************************************************
Invocation of ASF Web client using control parameters
DXBFNCT=LCF and DXBSELEND=R1 may lead to unexpected behavior
such as display of screens for user interaction or abnormal
    termination.
Using DXBSELEND=R1 means that no screen must be displayed and
that a message is returned to the caller if user interaction
    is required.

Problem conclusion

  • The affected modules have been corrected so that the processing
is in sync with the classic 3270-ASF.
