QRadar Network Security Appliances: PAM Tuning Parameters fail to apply after policy change

Troubleshooting


Problem

A defect was found in the QRadar Network Security Appliances running firmware v5.5.0.4 and v5.5.0.5 where a policy change deployment causes existing PAM Tuning Parameters to not be applied properly.

Symptom

Customers might find that pam.report.filterall parameters are no longer in effect, leading to events being reported that were expected to be ignored.

Resolving The Problem

This defect is addressed in the v5.5.0.6 firmware. If you are using previous versions of the firmware, contact support to obtain a fix pack for the issue.
