no value in CUSTJCL(#B8ATYV1), if a value was not provided
during setup processing.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: IMS Tools Setup generated IMS           *
*                      Administration Tool variables with no   *
*                      value in CUSTJCL(#B8ATYV1), if a value  *
*                      was not provided during setup           *
*                      processing.                             *

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *

IMS Tools Setup added VARIABLE and VALUE statements for some
IMS Administration Tool variables to CUSTJCL(#B8ATYV1) without
checking if a value was provided. This caused issues with IMS
Administration Tool.

Problem conclusion

  • The module HKTQSETV has been modified to not add incorrect
VARIABLE and VALUE statements to CUSTJCL(#B8ATYV1).
