Problem
Performing a Cognos Analytics Easy Install is supposed to also provide a co-installed and configured Informix component as a content store database.
This document aims to resolve the issue where Informix service is missing in Services, even though Easy Install is successfully performed and installed on the C: drive.
Symptom
- Testing the content store leads to "[ERROR] Content Manager is unable to connect to the content store ..."
- Informix IDS service not found in Services.
