Known issues and workarounds
A known issue has been identified in QRadar 7.3.0 where licenses are not applied to Event Collectors (15xx) appliances as expected. In a typical deployment, Event Collector appliances inherit the license from the Event Processor. However, an issue was reported in QRadar 7.3.0 that only a 450 EPS license was being inherited.
APAR Number | Description | Workaround |
IV94195 | EVENT COLLECTOR APPLIANCES (15XX) ARE ASSIGNED A EPS VALUE OF 450 INSTEAD OF THEIR PROCESSOR'S VALUE | An APAR has been created to inform administrators with Event Collectors to wait before installing QRadar 7.3.0. It is recommended to subscribe to this APAR to determine with an fix is released to close this issue. |
