Steps
Here are the steps to migrate Hadoop Projects and Axiom Data Lineage Projects using OpenIGC.
Hadoop Projects and Axiom Data Lineage Projects are OpenIGC Assets and are not native to IGC.
To migrate OpenIGC Assets you can use the IGC REST Explorer to import and export (migrate) the assets. You can access the IGC REST Swagger interface also from WKC at:
https://YOUR_SERVER/ibm/iis/igc-rest-explorer (replace YOUR_SERVER with your server name)
1) If needed run the GET/bundles command to retrieve a list of published bundles (the name of the bundle is required for the export)
2) Export Bundle using the GET /bundles/(id) command
3) Import Bundle using the Post /bundles command
4) Export Bundle Assets (the metadata) using the GET/bundles/assets
5) Import Bundle Assets using the POST/bundles/assets
You can also import/export the Flows (mapping for Lineage)
6) Expand the FlowSection
7) Export Flows using the GET/flows(id) command. You will need to know the Reference ID for each asset.
8) Import Flows - using the POST/flows command
It may be easier to re-use the same files originally used to publish the OpenIGC Assets to IGC if you still have them. Generally, that is how you migrate content by recreating the content from the same file.
