Abstract

The table provides the system requirements for IBM WebSphere Application Server v9.0 Network Deployment - Edge Components per component.

Before engaging IBM® support, review the minimum product levels for IBM® WebSphere Application Server Edge components. Because other products frequently ship fixes, updates, and new releases, it is not possible to test every configuration. In general, you can install and run with updates to supported products if those updates are compatible with later version. Refer to support article WebSphere Application Server has grown and so have your requirements for support for configurations that are not included in the following list.

Unsupported Configurations
  • Edge Caching Proxy is not supported on RedHat Enterprise Linux 8.0 (and  later) due to the removal of compat-libstdc++-33
  • Edge Load Balancer is not supported on Windows Server 2016 and higher
