Abstract
Users of TLS SHA-1 ciphers will need a stronger cipher when sending documentation to the ECUREP server.
Content
Customer’s sending documentation via FTPS and the z/OS utility PDUU (AMAPDUPL) will need to ensure the use of a strong cipher when connecting to ECUREP servers
Support for TLS v1.0 and TLS v1.1 will be removed. Also, all Cipher Suites using SHA-1 Hashing algorithm
AES128-SHA and AES256-SHA will be removed.
The z/OS utility PDUU (AMAPDUPL) sends diagnostic documentation to IBM using File Transfer Protocol (FTPS) or the preferred method Secured Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTPS).
For a sample PDUU (AMAPDUPL) job using HTTPS specifying TLS cipher use link below.

The anonymous FTP server ftp.ecurep.ibm.com will be discontinued later this year. Please migrate to the FTPS server ftps.ecurep.ibm.com (192.109.81.10). Connections to this server need to be authenticated using the IBM Support File Transfer ID (https://www.secure.ecurep.ibm.com/transferids/).
