KCPPA055E z/OS KCP0759E CICSPLEX rules

Question

ITM environment executes on z/OS (TEMS, OMEGAMON CICS, and TOM) and we do not have TEPS or any distributed ITM pieces. I see data but in the RKLVLOG for OMEGAMON XE for CICS, but I am getting the following error messages:

KCPPA0555E The HUB TEMS does not have application support for the OMEGAMON CICS product KCP0759E THE PCLASS MANAGER WAS UNABLE TO LOAD THE CICSPLEX RULES

Why am I getting these messages when everything seems to be working?

Answer

Application support is only used by OMEGAMON XE agents. Specifically for OMEGAMON XE for CICS, the only way to get rid of those messages is to install application support by one of the methods below:

1) Enable SDA (self-describing agents).

2) Have a TEPS and manually install application support and "seed" the HUB TEMS.
