How can I map a specific Telnet client to a specific application, when establishing a linemode connection?
Answer
To map a specific Telnet client to a specific VTAM application, when establishing a linemode connection, code the LINEMODEAPPL statement in the BEGINVTAM section. When a linemode connection is negotiated, Telnet will immediately initiate a session request to the VTAM application. The user is not prompted for an application name.
