PH22199: USING DB2 SORT, SYSCOPY INFORMATION IGNORED FOR IMAGE COPY ESTIMATION

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• (HPU 5.1 only) Non optimized performance of failure during the
  sort phase of the input image copy can occur when the following
  conditions are fulfilled:
  - DB2 SORT use is requested (through thhe SORTUTIL option or
  VUX037/SORTUTIL parmlib parameter)
  - Db2 HPU is supposed to determine information about the image
  copy from the SYSIBM.SYSCOPY catalog table which occurs when the
  input image copy is referenced in the SYSIBM,SYSCOPY and one of
  the following situation occurs:
     - COPYDDN LAST_IC or COPYDDN integer is specified
     - COPYDDN ddname is specified and either the CHECK is
  specified or the VUU033/ULCHKCPY parmlib parameter is set to YES
  

Local fix

• consider using another sort program by specifying SORTUTIL SORT
  or setting VUX037/SORTUTIL to SORT,
