Error description

  • An 837I transaction passes compliance when there are multiple
    2400 REF*6 within a CLM01 where the REF02 value is not unique.
The TR3 requires the line item control number to be unique
within the patient control number (CLM01).

Within each 2300 Loop, all occurrences of 2400 REF*6R must
have unique REF02 values. This applies to all 837s
(professional, institutional, dental), but not the PACDR
    837's.
