If your deployment is installed with the initial release of QRadar Incident Forensics 7.2.2, you can install fix pack 7.2.2-QRADAR-QIF-358.
About this task
Fix packs are cumulative software updates to fix known software issues for your QRadar Incident Forensics appliance.
Procedure
- Download the fix pack 7.2.2-QRADAR-QIF-358 from the IBM Fix Central website: https://ibm.biz/BdFxbN (IBM shortened link to the download this Fix Pack)
- Using SSH, log in to your system as the root user.
- Copy the fix pack to the /tmp directory on your QRadar Incident Forensics appliance.
Note: If space in the /tmp directory is limited, copy the fix pack to another location that has sufficient space.
- To set the permissions on the fix pack, type the following command: cmod +xforensics_72_mr2_patch_6.1.358-1el6.bsx
- To install the fix pack, type the following command: ./tmp/forensics_72_mr2_patch_6.1.358-1el6.bsx
After the fix pack installs, the administrator must reboot the QRadar Incident Forensics appliance.
- To reboot the appliance, type reboot.
The installation is complete after QRadar Incident Forensics appliances reboots.
