- Download the jre installer file for the proper platform to a directory on the system where IBM SmartCloud Entry 2.3 is installed:
- For example: sce230_jre_windows_installer.exe
- Run the jre installer:
Run sce230_jre_windows_installer.exe - After installation, check the jre version:
Change the directory to $SCE_HOME\jre\bin; run java.exe to check the version
The jre version should be:
java version "1.6.0"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build pxa6460sr16fp21-20160223_01(SR16 FP21))
